It's been a while

Sorry I haven't posted anything for quite sometime folks. Here's a picture of a recent engagement  card I made for my niece and her fiance.

Although it was a simple card to make I must admit I do love the two colours I have used (pink and mint).

Hope you like it and thanks for taking a look.

Hat Box Confections CD - Jems Designs - DT Cards

Good afternoon everyone on this very wet and horrible day.  I been busy today completing the last of my latest DT cards for Jems Designs (previews very soon).

Here are 3 more DT cards for the wonderful new CD from Jems Designs called Hat Box Confections.  (Also below are additional pictures of Lavender Cream which is from the same CD).  Hope you like them.

"Spearmint Ice"

I did something different with the spellbinders fancy lattice this time.  I cut it out of double sided sticky and then glittered it in a spearmint glitter giving it a lot of bling.

I made the flowers myself, and then added pearls to finish off corners and make an embellishment on the handbags.

"Raspberry Brulee"

" Golden Caramel"

Lavender Cream

Thank you for stopping by today and taking a look at my blog.  Don't forget to leave your feedback, I would love to hear your thoughts.

My First Jems Designs DT Card

For all of you that don't know a couple of weeks ago I was really lucky to be picked to become a DT member for the wonderful Jems Designs.

The first CD that I have received from Jems is "Scentimental" which has a real vintage feel to it.  This is something new for me as I have never worked with vintage before so I must admit this was a very interesting new challenge for me.

Hope you like my first card which is using an image from the Pink Rose folder on the cd.

PLEASE CHECK OUT THE NEW CD "SCENTIMENTAL" ON CREATE & CRAFT
11AM SUNDAY 21ST APRIL 2013.....

Here is a close up of the cameo which is on the cd, I think it is stunning.  Also you will be able to see closeups of the butterflies I made.

This is just one of the Pink Rose images from the cd.

My Mothers Day Cards 2013

Afternoon everyone hope you are all well on another wet and miserable day
 (in preston anyway).

I thought I would share with you the two mother's day cards I made this year.

The first card is for my mum:-

I was inspired to make this card by a very talented lady called Lesley Hawkins.  In one of her cards she used these dies and I thought it was just amazing.  Hope you like my card just as much as I liked hers.

I know you can't see the main image very well but it is made using double sided adhesive, glitter and a
dream weavers stencil.  I used spellbinders dies large ovals and large scalloped ovals, Cheery Lynn flourish and Crealies Leaves Die .

Bling Appeal :- I used peeloffs, liquid pearls, flat back pearls and glitter.

Flowers:- I made all the flowers using my cricut to cut out the large flower and also cut out circles to make the smaller flowers.

This is the card I made for my mother in law.

I used a a recent stamp I bought in a sale at inspirations of Preston which I bought for the bargain price of £1.50.  I coloured the rose in with spectrum noir pens and then photocopied it onto photo paper several times.  This gave it the great glossy finish that I love.

The flower is then decoupaged to make a great 3d finish to the card.  I used the same cheery lynn flourish as above and also Spellbinders fancy lattice and hexagon dies.

I cut the mothers day out using cheery lynn dies .

The stamped image in the middle of the card was sprayed with crafters companion  spray & sparkle .

50th Commissioned Card number 4

Today is a picture of the last of the four commissioned cards made for my friends husbands 50th.

To make the card I used the glitter girls board "splendour" and a couple of dies
(not sure who's dies they are sorry)

The 50 was cut out using my cricut and the sentiment I made using my computer.

Bling Appeal :- A Few peeloffs, glitter and a few jems.

Thank you for taking a look.
