Christmas Card 2012 Number 1

Good Afternoon everybody, hope you are all fit and well and not too stressed out with the wonderful (stressful time for some) thought of christmas being nearly here.  I just thought I would share with you my latest card commisioned christmas card for a friend at work

I used one of my old stamps that was in my stamp drawer (sorry I don't know what make it is) to make my poinsettia which I coloured in with my new spectrum noir pens.  I don't know about anyone else but I think these are awesome.

To finish the poinsettia off i used sequins for the centre and then added glitter to the leaves.

Hope you will leave feedback for me.

May all your Christmas be Merry & Sprite

DT Card for Digis by Jems -  Meet Sprite Jazz

After a rough few weeks of illness in our house we are all now well and so I have finally have been able to finish my 1st Christmas card that's for my daughter.  I used my latest Digi from Jems which is  SPRITE - JAZZ.  If you would like to buy this digi please click on the link to Jems website.

Unfortunately my camera hasn't picked up the glitter and shine on the digi/card
so I hope you like it.

To make this card I used MCS CD - Winter Whimsies

Hope you like my card, I hope you will leave feedback below.

Wednesday 7 November 2012

Hi everyone, a really busy day today for me. My daughter unfortunately is under the weather so I have been playing nursemaid most of the day, looking after the boys and of course finally finishing my latest DT card for Jems.

So if you have not already see her on the Jems Designs Website I would like to introduce to you the Mermaid -  Breeze by jemsdesigns.  When I saw this cute little Digi I just could not resist her.

All the sea greenery and flowers were cut out on white card using my Cricut machine with the Dreams-Come-True-Cricut-Cartridge.  I then had to colour them in with my new spectrum noir pens from crafterscompanion which I must add are FABULOUS !!

Hope you like the DT card for Jems I made,  I would really be grateful to hear your comments.

Challenges:-

Saturday 3 November 2012

I was looking through the different blogs I follow and came across a challenge with the name "Wings and things" .
This is what it has inspired me to create.  I don't know if you know this but I love butterflies they are one of my favourites, so I really found my mojo whilst making this card. It was a real easy make.

Dies Used:- spellbinders-nestabilities-labels-11,

I cut the butterflies out using my cricut machine and then glittered them, adding some jems to give them extra bling.

The paper I used is printed from polkadoodles cd Pretty Sweet.

Hope you like this card, I personally do like this one, I think it is one of favourite cards I have ever made.  As my daughter would say I need a chufty badge, lol.

Male 50th with Angels in Mind

Really difficult challenge today.  A friend of mine asked me to make her a card for a friend who likes Angels,  the difficult part being he is a man.  Well hope you like the result.

A Bit of info:-

The 2 angels and the numbers were cut using my cricut machine.

I glued the 1st angel with flitterglue from indigo blue and covered it in flakes.

The 2nd (the shadow) angel I glued again and covered with glitter.

I repeated the same process for the numbers as the second angel..

Dies Used :-

Spellbinders twisted-metal-tags--accentsfloral-doily-accent

Thanks for taking a look and hope you like it...

1st Distressed card

Distressed Card 1

Good afternoon crafters another day another card.  Today's mission to make my sisters birthday card, and as she is a fan of greens here is my attempt.  Really had fun making this card, it was a bit different to what I normally do. I used my Tim Holtz distress inks to do the background.
